RedStar proceeds to Phase II of the NHS Lothian Scottish Hip Fracture Audit SBRI

Red Star is delighted to announce that we have been awarded funding from the Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) to move forward with our innovative solution for improving hip fracture care. This funding will enable us to progress from Phase 1 to Phase 2 of the project, building upon the work we have already done to develop a solution that addresses the challenges faced by healthcare professionals in hip fracture care.

Phase 1 was focused on discovery, definition, and design. We worked to gain a deep understanding of the problem we are trying to solve, quantifying the challenges that patients and healthcare professionals face when dealing with hip fractures. We then explored various design options for addressing these challenges, ultimately arriving at a solution that we believe will significantly improve the quality of care received by patients.

In Phase 2, we will continue our design process, developing prototypes and testing them with users to refine our concept. This will enable us to create a solution that is both practical and effective, meeting the needs of patients and healthcare professionals alike.

We are honoured to have been selected for funding by the SBRI, and we are excited to continue working on this important project. At Red Star, we are passionate about using data, design, and development to create solutions that make a positive impact on people’s lives. This project is a prime example of our commitment to innovation and excellence in all that we do.

We are grateful for the opportunity to make a real difference in hip fracture care, and we look forward to sharing updates on our progress as we move forward with Phase 2 of this exciting project. We would like to thank the SBRI for their support, and we are committed to delivering a solution that meets the needs of patients and healthcare professionals alike.
