Red Star Completes Phase 1 of Children and Young People Remote Asthma Management Challenge

We are delighted to announce that Phase 1 of the Children and Young People Remote Asthma Challenge has been successfully completed. Over the past three months, Red Star has worked closely with clinicians and partners to develop innovative solutions for remote asthma management in children and young people.

This phase has allowed us to refine our approach, integrating AI-driven risk stratification and data processing systems to support timely clinical interventions. We are proud of the progress made and the exciting opportunities this opens for the future of asthma care in the NHS.

As we look ahead, Red Star will be applying for Phase 2, which focuses on prototype development and gathering early clinical evidence. This next step will bring us closer to delivering a robust, patient-centered solution that improves asthma outcomes for children and young people. Phase 2 is expected to commence towards the end of 2024, and we look forward to continuing this journey. Further updates will be provided as we advance through the selection process.
