Red Star awarded funding to pilot their platform for patients with multi-morbidity

We are excited to announce that Red Star has been awarded funding to pilot our innovative platform for managing patients with multi-morbidity. As part of the ongoing Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) competition, funded by the Scottish Government Chief Scientist Office, our project aims to improve care for patients with complex medical conditions who are frequently admitted to emergency departments.

Red Star’s platform aggregates patient data from multiple sources into a real-time, user-friendly summary, helping clinicians quickly identify comorbidities, medications, and risk factors. This new system supports personalised, data-driven clinical decision-making, ultimately improving patient safety and outcomes in the acute care setting.

This pilot will be delivered in collaboration with Health Innovation South East Scotland (HISES), NHS Lothian, and the University of Edinburgh. We look forward to the results of this next phase and the positive impact it will have on multi-morbidity care.
