Red Star has been awarded funding through the Innovating Mental Health Services in Scotland SBRI challenge to co-develop an innovative data-driven platform aimed at improving mental health services across NHS Scotland. Working closely with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Red Star will focus on streamlining care pathways for ADHD and eating disorders, improving communication between mental health services, GPs, and specialist teams, and enhancing remote monitoring for patients.
This digital-first approach will introduce a modern IT platform designed to provide efficient, person-centred care, reducing waiting times and offering better support to patients, especially young people. The platform will also support asynchronous assessments, remote monitoring, and data-driven decision-making, addressing key mental health challenges in Scotland. Red Star’s project is part of Phase 2 of the challenge, which will see the development and piloting of this innovative solution over the next year.
