Red Star Selected for Children and Young People Remote Asthma Management Challenge

We are excited to announce that Red Star has been chosen as one of the winners for Phase 1 of the Children and Young People Remote Asthma Management Challenge. This initiative, funded by the Scottish Government’s Chief Scientist Office, is managed by NHS Lothian through the Health Innovation South East Scotland (HISES) Hub.

In this phase, Red Star will collaborate with HISES to develop an innovative remote asthma management system for children and young people. Our approach will focus on integrating with existing clinical systems to gather and process critical data, enabling timely interventions to improve patient outcomes.

We look forward to working closely with clinicians and patients to co-design a solution that harnesses AI and machine learning for risk stratification, aimed at reducing emergency care reliance and improving long-term asthma management.
